Everybody once thought
that I am very important.
Nobody would have expected
that I could end up like that.
Wherever I went,
I was welcomed.
Whomever I met,
Looked up to me.
But now, nobody notices me.
Everybody ignores me.
They used to listen to me,
But they stopped.
From now on, I will fight back.
I will not be ignored anymore.
Their proud hearts will learn their lesson.
Their ignorance will fail.
They tried to build a tower
For their own glory.
They forgot about me.
I would have stopped them.
But yet they continued
Without me.
With me,
They could have built a temple.
Sadly, they wanted a tower
Not a temple.
They wanted to worship themselves.
I wanted to worship God.
I am the fear of God
And I know how to plead my case.
They exchanged the glory
Of the Immortal with mortality.
They chose vanity
Although I offered eternity.
They preferred blasphemy
And ended up in insanity.
Still, my offer stands.
They can come back to me.
But they need to bow down
Before my glorious majesty.
The fear of God
Is the right attitude.
That’s what they need to learn.
I hope that one day they’ll understand.
