Betrayed yet unbroken,
Lonely and alone,
Accused and forsaken,
Left on His own.
Despised and defamed,
A curse He became,
As King been proclaimed,
But Christ is His name.
He is a Saviour,
Anointed for sure,
Been deemed as a failure,
Although He was pure.
Killed on a cross,
By those He should save,
His love seemed His loss,
His end was a grave.
But He got the power,
To raise from the dead,
Determined His hour,
As it was said.
He’s still a Saviour,
Who’s willing to love,
Not based on behaviour,
But the Father above.
Your pain He endured,
In heaven He’s now,
So you can be cured,
As soon as you bow.
Faith is the key,
To open the door,
So get on your knee,
Then He will restore.
